Beating the Heat

To beat the heat we headed out to Dodgeville for some swimming with Grandpa and Grandma at their neighbors. Cousin Luke was very proud to display his freshly learned swimming skills. Way to go Luke! Grady starts lessons this week.
After swimming the boys decided to go cruising. Grandma was sure safety came first when she provided the boys with helmets. Grady is sporting Grandma's old Alliant Energy hard hat.

No Rain + High Temps = Expensive Engery/Water Bills

Fortunately this temp was brief when I started my car. Unfortunately it only dropped to 104 for the drive home.

It hasn't rained this May and our grass resembles straw!
Our flowers are doing well, with a daily dose of water.

This clematis and the lone lily with petals remaining, both appreciate the daily drink.

June Wraps Up

The Lobenstein Family June 2012
Happy Birthday(s) to Uncle Rick 6/30 and Grandpa Gary 6/29

The family got together to celebrate with dinner and the kids loved all the games at the restaurant.

On our drive home we took some pictures of the beautiful June sunset.

It has been very hot here in WI, so we got some pool time in.
Mom gets some help keeping her toes in the sand from Audra.

We also took the kids to see their future Elementary School's playground. Check it out a Quad Teeter Totter!

The Pool and Time to Come Home

Not all of our time was spent at the parks, we made sure to get in some pool time at the hotel.

Patriotic Theme

A freshly turned 2 year old is no match for all Disney has to offer. Her stroller was a second bed most of the week.

When no stroller was available a shaded floor made for a good place to nap.

The Usual End of the Day pose.
